| After finishing formal training at the Chicago Art Institute, I was faced with the dilemma of making a living or pursuing the uncertain life of a struggling young artist. I passed on the latter and took a job in advertising . Twenty-five years later I was the Vice-President Executive Art Director at the Leo Burnett agency. Even though I had become successful commercially, I never lost the desire to create my own art. I painted weekends and evenings, but it wasn't enough. Finally, I decided to leave my career and devote all my time to creative art. The past two decades have allowed me to develop and expand artistically, to exhibit my work, and to continually add to it. |
